Curiosity, Creativity, and Healing are major themes in my life. They motivate and direct me and the work i do which continues to evolve.

Caring for people's health began early. As a teenager I worked in nursing homes and the local hospital, then pursued a career in Respiratory Therapy at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN.

In my early twenties I discovered I had a talent for drawing and eventually studied art at the College of Art and Design in Minneapolis, graduating with a BFA in 1986.

While studying there I began writing poetry. I co-led a mural project at a nearby state hospital, and also explored sculpture, environmental art, figure drawing, collage, and hand-made books. I was particularly intrigued by the creative process and the layering of materials over time.

I first experienced energy healing during this time while looking for relief of migraine head aches. The work fascinated me, and I began to find my own talents. I completed MariEl training, graduated from the four year Barbara Brennan School of Healing, studied healing touch, shamanic journey work, ceremony, and my education continues. I am still fascinated.

I have had a private practice as an energy worker in the Minneapolis area since 1987. During this time my love of nature and environmental art has blossomed into ceremonies created directly for the land. My work has taken me to New York, Colorado, Wisconsin,South Dakota, greater Minnesota, as well as the Twin cities metro area.

I teach classes and workshops that explain energy work or healing touch, the human energy field, how to stay centered, and how to create and perform group ceremony. Seeking the way to be in right relationship with the earth as we travel through the universes, I designed and taught a full course on the four directions; N,S,E,W, and what wisdom they offer us.

My one-on-one energy sessions are geared toward the client's needs thus are quite individual and creative.
